Upcycled vintage kimono silk and blue cork backpack.

This beautiful backpack is made from upcycled vintage kimono silk from Japan, which has a detailed wave print, and blue cork from Portugal. The cork straps are very comfortable on the hands and the shoulders.

It is perfect for a night out, for putting a note or sketch pad. It fits a 13" laptop also, which will be secure as the bag has a top zip. It also has a front concealed zip which would fit a book, magazine, sketchpad etc. This backpack is slightly bigger than our other cork backpacks.

Why do you use kimono silks and cottons on your bags?
We try and use natural, sustainable and upcycled fabrics
Also fabrics which have a story and a history, so we use a lot of vintage fabrics which come from damaged kimono which have been unpicked and cleaned. The kimono are from various eras in Japans history.

Can these bags be purchased anywhere else?
At the moment, they can only be bought on our website, on our Etsy shop, and when we do craft fairs/pop up shops.
